State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, will on Thursday, distribute among farmers in the state, multi million naira worth of farm inputs.  The state’s Commissioner for Information, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, told newsmen in Akure at the weekend that farmers across the 18 local government areas of the state would benefit from the programme, which Mimiko will flag off at Oladejo Martins, Akinnifemi Memorial Hall, Bolorunduro in Ondo-east.
 
According to the Commissioner, the farmers are expected to visit farm service centres in their respective local governments, with their smart cards, otherwise known as Kaadi Igbeayo, to be able to benefit from the programme.
 
He said the distribution would take place in the 18 local government areas simultaneously with the flag-off in Bolorunduro, adding, however, that the exercise will be sustained beyond the flag off day.
 
Slated for distribution to complement the agriculture hardware include, Surgicides, herbicides, fish feeds, fishnets and iron files, among others.
Meanwhile, the State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has lauded the management of the Ondo State Agency for Roads Maintenance and Construction (OSARMCO), for the quality job done on roads across the state. 

Governor Mimiko, during an unscheduled inspection visit to the ongoing four-kilometre Igoba road in Akure North Local Government Area of the State, yesterday, noted that in spite of the financial challenge facing the state, his administration has continued to utilize the little resources to add value to the lives of the people.
