The Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) has said that all is set for the conduct of election in the 13 local council of the state on October 6, 2021.
Chairman of the commission, Ayuba Usman, stated this while briefing newsmen in Lafia yesterday.
As part of activities leading to the election, the electoral, yesterday, met with members of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in the state.
“Local government election has been fixed for October 6, 2021, for both chairmanship and councillorship election, across the 13 local councils and 147 electoral wards,” he stated.
According to her, nomination forms are available between July 22 and 27, 2021, and submission at the NASIEC headquarters on August 2 and 3.
