Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has urged Nigerians to embrace compassion, sacrifice, and unity as the true spirit of Easter.

In a stirring Easter message to Christians, especially her Kogi Central constituents, the lawmaker described the season as a reminder of love’s power to heal and transform society.

She also called on Christians to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“Easter reminds us of the triumph of light over darkness, and love over hate. In these trying times, we must draw strength from this message and recommit to values that uplift our communities—compassion, kindness, and unity,” the statement read in part.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed hope that the season would bring renewed peace and joy to every home and inspire collective efforts toward national progress.

She also wished Christians a joyful celebration filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family.
