National Assembly mourns Imo lawmaker, Benjamin Uwajumogu

President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has expressed sadness over the death of Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, who represented Imo North until the unfortunate incident yesterday.

Also, the Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, described the passage as a huge loss to Nigeria, the constituents and Imo State.

The senator was reported to have slumped in the toilet while taking his bath.

The late lawmaker was, subsequently, rushed to a private hospital in Apo, Abuja where he gave up the ghost.
