N’Delta Ministry to handover N3b education facility to Imo government

Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs has expressed readiness to commission and handover the Skill Acquisition Centre it built at Abaezi-Egbema in Ohaji/Egbema Council of Imo State to the state government.

Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs has expressed readiness to commission and handover the Skill Acquisition Centre it built at Abaezi-Egbema in Ohaji/Egbema Council of Imo State to the state government.

The project, which, according to the ministry, is worth over N3 billion, was constructed to provide specialised training in commerce for the people, and improve the human development indices of the region.

The facility, handled by Messrs Thick Engineering Nig. Ltd (Lot 1), Messrs Segos Energy Services Ltd (Lot 2), Messrs Topaz Flaire Nig. Ltd. (Lot 3), contains administrative block, commerce block, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) block, conference hall, ware house, male and female hostels, detached and semi detached duplexes with boys quarters and indoor sports hall, among others.

The Minister of State for the ministry, Sharon Ikeazor, made this disclosed while addressing journalists during inspection of the ministry’s intervention projects at various locations in Imo and Abia states.
