…As FCT project inaugurations enter day four

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) project commissioning programme continues today with the official inauguration of the newly constructed Court of Appeal (Abuja Division) complex by President Bola Tinubu.

The state-of-the-art judicial facility is designed to strengthen the capacity of one of the nation’s most important appellate courts, providing a modern and efficient environment for the administration of justice. The complex features improved courtrooms, enhanced office accommodation, and supporting infrastructure aimed at facilitating faster and more effective judicial processes.

The commissioning underscores the growing emphasis on institutional infrastructure as a critical component of national development. Stakeholders in the legal community have consistently highlighted the need for modern court facilities to address operational challenges and improve service delivery within the justice sector.

Located in the nation’s capital, the Court of Appeal (Abuja Division) serves as a key judicial hub, handling a significant volume of appeals from lower courts and tribunals across the country.
