Nigeria needs military backup to tackle security, developmental challenges, says Navy


Outgoing commandant of the Naval War College Nigeria, Rear Admr. Thaddeus Udofia said the country needs military backup to effectively tackle security and developmental challenges she is facing, during his send forth ceremony at the NNS Parade ground in Calabar yesterday.

He said the establishment of the War College was designed to help the country overcome all forms of security and developmental challenges.Commending the outgoing Commandant, Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok Ekwe Ibas said the purpose of establishing the college was being achieved gradually through efficient delivery of operations.

Ibas who was represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Naval Headquarters, Rear Admr. Begroy Ibe-Enwo, said, “We have noticed a lot of improvement, the college is making a lot of impact and the few that have been trained are making gainful contributions in efficient delivery of our operations.”
