Agadaga, Paulker join Bayelsa guber race
Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s kinsman and associate, Chief Benson Agadaga, has indicated interest in the Bayelsa State governorship contest billed for November 16.
Also, Senator Emmanuel Paulker, who represented Bayelsa Central from 2007 to 2019, has set machinery in motion to take over from Governor Seriake Dickson at Creek Haven.
Supporters of both aspirants, who are seeking to get the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for the poll, have since flooded the streets and major highways of Yenagoa with campaign posters and banners.
Agadaga, the national chairman of Ogbia Brotherhood Worldwide, said his aspiration was borne out of his desire to continue serving Bayelsa, having served as Commissioner for Information and is Dickson’s Special Adviser on Establishment.
