Durodola donates cash, items to students in Lagos

Two outstanding students of Eva Adelaja Girls’ Junior Secondary School, Bariga, Lagos, have been recognised for their exceptional academic performances.
 
Okafor Augusta Adaeze emerged the Best Graduating Student, achieving an impressive three result of A1s, three A2s, and four A3s in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).   Her hardwork and dedication earned her a cash prize of N100,000, donated by Deola Durodola, a seasoned development professional and Executive Director, United Way Greater Nigeria.
 
Similarly, Abolaji Adeshina Saadat Ejide was also rewarded for achieving one A1, five A2s, and four A3s in the examination. Ejide stood out for exceptional character, diligence and commitment.  She got N50,000 reward for her consistent academic brilliance. They were celebrated at the 10th yearly speech and prize giving day, with the theme: ‘Honouring Achievement, Inspiring the Future’.
 
As the guest speaker, Durodola, an alumnus, reflected on her formative years at the school, sharing how the values, lessons, and opportunities she received laid the foundation for her successful career.
