Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Gas, Rt. Hon. Obongemem Ekperikpe Ekpo, has reiterated his resolve to ensure that the dividends of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Agenda’s legacies are felt in all nooks and crannies of Akwa Ibom State.

In a statement by his spokesman, Louis Ibah, the minister stressed the importance of deepening relationships with political players, including enhancing cooperation with Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, to support Tinubu’s re-election.

Ekpo stressed that his commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of Akwa Ibom State has translated into his partnership with Governor Eno.

“Those who thrive and profiteer where chaos and anarchy reign are uncomfortable with the current arrangement and are misconstruing it as a plot to sabotage Mr President,” the minister said.

He maintained that his relationship with Governor Eno is based on his conviction that only through an atmosphere of peace and unity can development come to Akwa Ibom State.

The Gas Minister noted with delight that the peace-loving people of Akwa Ibom State share his commitment to peace as a vital catalyst for development and progress in the state.

This, he said, has pushed him to remain committed to promoting the welfare and progress of the people of Akwa Ibom State and other Nigerians residing and doing business in the state, and he will not be swayed by baseless allegations and blackmail that undermine this goal.
