The Ogun State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps), in collaboration with the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps), has apprehended a suspected notorious criminal, Usman Abdullahi, alias A.K.

According to a statement made available in Abeokuta yesterday by the Deputy Corps Commander, Ogun State Security Network (Amotekun Corps), Col. Tajudeen Bakare (rtd), the suspect was nabbed in a joint operation on Saturday, in Ijebu-Ode.

Bakare stated that the suspect, a native of Lumbasa Local Government Area of Katsina State, had been on the list of all security agencies, including the Nigeria Police, in and around Ijebu-Ode.

He explained that the suspect was arrested following intelligence received by the Amotekun operatives about the suspect’s whereabouts in Ijebu-Ode, near the So-Safe Corps office at Itoro Local Government.

“It demonstrates the Amotekun Corps’ unwavering commitment in working together to combat crime, maintain peace, and ensure the safety and security of citizens in the state,” he said.
