Popular comedian and content creator, Ernest Tejeye, popularly known as HK Chairman, has urged Nigerian youths to shun criminal activities and embrace hard work and legitimate means of livelihood.

Tejeye spoke in Asaba during an event marking the third anniversary of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.

He urged young people to emulate the governor, whom he described as someone who devoted his early years to hard work and perseverance.

The comedian cautioned youths against engaging in armed robbery, kidnapping, drug abuse and other social vices, stressing that genuine success can only be achieved through determination, discipline and lawful enterprise.

He cited his personal experience as an example, noting that his achievements and assets were the result of years of dedication and hard work rather than involvement in criminal activities.

According to him, the success he enjoys today, including his properties and other accomplishments, was attained through legitimate efforts and persistence.

HK Chairman also highlighted Oborevwori’s political journey, stating that the governor’s rise to leadership was built on years of commitment, service and diligence rather than shortcuts or unlawful means.

He therefore encouraged youths to embrace positive values, pursue productive ventures and contribute meaningfully to societal development.

Tejeye further noted that Oborevwori had demonstrated commitment to the welfare of the people through strategic developmental projects aimed at improving living conditions across the state.

Drawing from his personal experience and connection to communities within Delta State, HK Chairman, whose roots are in Okpare-Olomu in Ughelli South Local Council and Okpara in Ethiope East Local Council, said he could personally attest to the positive impact of projects executed by the state government.
