FCMB, Flip to Tech equips 5000 children in Abuja with free 3 months coding skills

As part of the 2022 childrens day celebration, FCMB in partnership with Flip to Tech (School of Art) has commenced a free 3 months training for 5,000 children in Abuja.

The opening ceremony had pupils representative from 32 secondary schools in abuja from all area councils.

The training is focused on empowering younger generation on various ICT and Coding skills from early age as we prepare them for the future.

The goal is to train and mentor beneficiaries and guide them to create a sustainable ecosystem for global opportunities and also focus on meeting the SDGs goals to reduce porverty, gender balance/inclusion in the tech space, hence forstering technological advancement in the educational sector.

The project will also be a major transformational tool to position FCMB and the young people as global solution providers in the tech space.

At the event are: the Zonal Head Wuse Abuja, Mrs Kaego Nwachukwu David; the CEO of School of Art and Co founder FLIP TO TECH- Mr Adetunwase Adenle, the co-founder FLIP TO TECH, the Head of CSR -Mr Omoniyi Iyanda; the Branch Manger of Area 8-Mrs Omowunmi Ajisafe; Branch Manager Garki 2- Mr Oluwatosin Ogunnika; Branch Manager of Jabi- Mr Joshua Adukwu and other notable dignitaries.
