Govt condemns bandits’ attack on Niger communities
Niger State government has condemned the attack by bandits on the Anguwan Mai-Giro community in part of Rafi and Shiroro Local Council of the state, which led to the loss of some lives.
The state described the attack as satanic, insensible, atrocious and callous.
Acting governor Yakubu Garba said it is disheartening and disturbing that humans could do such a vicious act against fellow humans.
Garba commiserated with the affected families, community members and the people of Rafi and Shiroro Local Councils.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
Garba restated the determination of Governor Umaru Bago’s administration to tame insecurity in the state.
