HOJ partners Power Oil, organises cooking competition
The Honourable Okey Joe Foundation (HOJ) in collaboration with Power Oil Company would be organising a cooking competition, “Spice it up Lagos Cooking Competition, Season 2
The foundation’s Executive Director, Mazi lkechukwu Birsmack Orji, stated that the competition, which is in partnership with Power Oil Company, which is the second edition, is aimed at igniting innovations where amateur chef and upcoming cook showcased their unique, technique and flair.
“It is to encourage creativity, experimentation and empower the participants with new talents discovered.”
He said all participants would be adequately compensated with consolation prizes, noting that the idea of the competition aimed at encouraging unity among all the various ethnicities.
The winner of the 1st edition of the cooking competition, Mrs. Jairus Amaka Peace, commended the lawmaker, Okey Joe Onuakalusi for the good work he is doing in the constituency and for coming up with such initiative to encourage young entrepreneurs.
