Members of the Lagos Country Club recently marked its 77th anniversary, even as they commissioned Project Falcon, a major sustainable project described as a gift to the next generation.

In his address during the club’s 77th Anniversary Gala Night and commissioning of Project Falcon in Lagos recently, President of Lagos Country Club, ‘Seyi Adewunmi said: “The infrastructure that was upgraded today was built 77 years ago. We have rebuilt the structure. It’s a gift to the next generation. Inside this infrastructure are offices, e- sport section, which is a game for the future generation. We must also continually bring our past into the future. For instance, the wood that was used 77 years ago is still the same wood that we used. It cannot be found in any market.’’

He advised Nigerians to always go out and participate in elections so that they can choose leaders of their choice.

Chairman Board of Trustees Lagos Country Club, Aare Kola Oyefeso said service to humanity is important. He also called on Nigerians to love one another. To him, ‘’at Lagos Country Club, we see ourselves as each others’ keepers and we have been able to maintain that bond.’’

On her part, Secretary General Lagos Country Club, Damilola Ikpe disclosed that the greatest pillar that has held them together is love.

She added that the facilities at the club are properly maintained.
