The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has said that the new terrorist group, popularly known as ‘Lakurawa’ is affiliated with the Islamic State of West Africa (ISIS).
Spokesman of Defence Media Operations (DMO), Major General Edward Buba, who made the disclosure, noted that the Military would go after the terror group.
Sokoto State Police command had confirmed that the new terrorist group, ‘Lakurawa’ is forcefully collecting cows from residents of some local government areas in the state.
Sources said the armed terror group moves in large numbers.
