Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have arrested a man, Friday Amos Gabriel, for allegedly vandalising and stealing an iron pole at Mosa/Balogun River in the state.

Gabriel was arrested on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, following a distress call received by the Ilogbo Area Command from the Chairman of the New Life Community Development Association (CDA), Mr Akinbobola, at about 6:30 a.m.

Akinbobola reportedly alerted the command after a man was sighted carrying an iron pole in the community.

The Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued yesterday in Abeokuta by the Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi.
