Ex-gov awaits coronation after unanimous decision

The Olubadan-in-Council has formally nominated former Oyo State governor, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The nomination was made yesterday, during a meeting held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, in the Ibadan North Local Council of Oyo State.

Although Ladoja was not present at the gathering, all members of the advisory council signed the official nomination.

Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, who presided over the meeting, confirmed the Council’s unanimous decision.

“We have all signed and nominated Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland,” Ajibola stated.
