Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested two suspects for possession of human tongues in Lagos State.

The suspects, 30-year-old Isah Amohullahi and 32-year-old Abubakar Isah, were arrested in a taxi on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola Bridge.

Further investigations led the operatives to arrest another suspect, Gbolahan Temidayo, from whom the parts were bought at Oyingbo Market, Lagos.

The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said an investigation is ongoing at the Command headquarters, and the suspects will be arraigned if found culpable.
