The Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation has provided humanitarian relief to victims of recent flooding in the Ayakoromo community, Delta State.
The intervention included the distribution of cash support, food items, temporary shelter, and medical assistance to affected residents. The foundation acted under the direction of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry.
Speaking during the outreach, representatives of the foundation said the initiative was aimed at alleviating the hardship caused by the floods, which had displaced several families in the riverine community.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to journalists expressed appreciation for the support. One resident described the assistance as timely, saying, “We were stranded and had nothing left. The foundation’s visit brought us hope.”
Local leaders acknowledged the gesture, noting the impact of the response. A youth leader in Ayakoromo said, “This was more than we expected. He came not only with prayers but with relief materials and real help.”
The foundation said its outreach was part of a broader effort to support communities facing emergencies, especially where public relief efforts are limited or delayed.
Prophet Fufeyin, known for his philanthropic activities through his foundation, did not attend the event in person but issued a message encouraging continued support for vulnerable groups across Nigeria.
The Ayakoromo outreach adds to a series of charitable interventions carried out by the foundation in recent years.
