Theatre Commander warns against sabotage, host troops to Christmas lunch

The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force North West Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Olalekan Soyele, has called on troops to adhere strictly to information security and avoid communicating with the enemy under any circumstances.

This was stressed during a Christmas lunch organized for Gusau, Zamfara State troops.

Major General Soyele praised the troops for their recent achievements, highlighting their operational successes in the theatre.

According to the Coordinator Joint Media Coordination Centre Operation Fansan Yamma, Lt. Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi acknowledged their resilience and dedication amidst challenging conditions and recognized their essential role in restoring stability and peace to the theatre.

“Reflecting on the past year’s operations, the Theatre Commander encouraged the troops to renew their vigor and commitment as they move into the new year.

“He emphasized the importance of adaptability and responsiveness to evolving challenges, urging the troops to use their experiences and lessons from the past year to improve future operations.

“General Soyele expressed his gratitude for the troops’ dedication and professionalism, assuring them of continued support. He encouraged them to maintain the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

“The Christmas lunch provided an opportunity for the Theatre Commander to emphasize the significance of discretion and vigilance during operations, underlining the importance of protecting sensitive information.

“The event not only celebrated the festive season but also reinforced camaraderie and unity among the troops.”
