Three injured in road accident in Ogun

The Police Command in Ogun,has confirmed confirm that three people sustained injuries in an accident at Abule Ojo Junction,near Alagbole in Ogun.

The Command’s Spokeperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident in a statement issued to newsmen on Friday in Ota.said that the accident occurred on Wednesday.

Odutola explained that accident ,which involved a Lexus Jeep marked KTU 287 JS and with a motorcycle with no plate number ,occurred at about 10 p.m.

“The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ajuwon Division,received a report from the public that an accident which involved a Lexus Jeep and a motorcycle, at Abule Ojo Junction, Alagbole,Ogun,had just happened.

“The Jeep was travelling from Akute toward Alagbole, and collided with the motorcycle in the course of driving recklessly.

“The rider and two passengers who sustained various degree of injuries were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the driver of the Lexus fled the scene.”she said.

Odutola said that both the vehicle and the motorcycle had been towed off the road by police officers and Vehicle Inspection Officers
