Troops of Sector 2 Operation HADIN KAI, working alongside the Civilian Joint Task Force and Hybrid Forces, have dealt a significant blow to Boko Haram’s logistics capabilities.

The troops acting on credible intelligence, intercepted six brand new motorcycles purchased in Kano, destined for terrorist enclaves in Tabkin Chadi and Timbuktu Triangle.

According to army headquarters sources, the joint operation, conducted on October 30, 2024, in Kukareta village, resulted in the arrest of a suspected terrorist and the recovery of the motorcycles and a mobile phone.

Brigadier General Marcel Ejike, Commander of Sector 2 Operation HADIN KAI, lauded the troops’ resilience and swift response.

He urged the troops to continue disrupting terrorist activities and dominating the area to deny the terrorists freedom of action.

General Ejike also appealed to the public for continued support and collaboration in the fight against insurgency.
