Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised three terrorists, including Abu Rajab, a notorious commander of the Boko Haram sect, during a raid in Sambisa Forest, Borno State.

The operation, conducted in collaboration with the Hybrid Force and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), targeted a terrorist camp in the Bula Daloje area of Bama Local Government Area (LGA) on August 17, 2024.

According to intelligence sources, the troops faced an ambush from the insurgents en route to their camp, leading to a fierce gun battle.

The troops successfully repelled the attack, killing the terrorists and forcing others to retreat.

Two AK-47 rifles and a mobile phone were recovered during the operation.

Unfortunately, one Hybrid Force personnel sustained gunshot wounds and later died.
