Two students die in trailer, Borno varsity bus crash
Two students of Borno State University were killed on Wednesday in an accident involving a school bus and a trailer.
The bus, carrying 30 students, was hit by the trailer, leaving three students critically injured and 15 others with various injuries.
Eyewitness says about ten students escaped unharmed.
University spokesperson Umar Garkuwa said the injured were taken to Umaru Shehu Hospital and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Garkuwa added that the vice chancellor and dean of student affairs are visiting the hospitals to ensure proper care for the injured.
This incident comes a month after 10 people died in a road accident that occurred at Yanfari village in the Taura LGA of Jigawa State in November.
