A dramatic scene is set to unfold at the National Assembly on Monday, September 30, as VeryDarkMan will appear to shed more light on bribery allegations against Bobrisky

Social media influencer and blogger Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, refused to address the members of the House of Representatives when he made an appearance on Monday.

VeryDarkMan in a viral video said he wouldn’t speak due to the absence of cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky who was also invited but sent a lawyer instead.

“If I say anything, let me d!e,” VeryDarkMan vowed but revealed how he got the controversial phone recording of Bobrisky.

The blogger also went ahead to submit part of the recording to the House of Reps panel probing the allegations made against the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

The controversial blogger had, in viral videos, alleged that some officers of the EFCC collected N15 million from Bobrisky for the anti-graft agency to drop money laundering charges against him during his naira spraying ordeal in April this year.

VeryDarkMan had also alleged that Bobrisky paid several millions of naira to a senior lawyer and spent time in a VIP facility instead of prison during his six-month sentencing for naira abuse.

The allegation led the Federal Government to suspend some senior officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service while the anti-graft agency ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.

In a letter dated September 27, 2024, the Joint House Committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions asked the EFCC Chairman and the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Correctional Service to appear on Monday, September 30, 2024.
