Georgia Senate names Jerry Oluranti Honorary citizen, Goodwill Ambassador

The Georgia State Senate in the United States has conferred Honorary Georgia Citizenship and the designation of International Goodwill Ambassador on Nigerian-born business executive and humanitarian, High Chief (Dr) Jerry Oluranti, in recognition of his decades of contributions to healthcare, education, technology and community development across the United States and Nigeria.

The honour was formally bestowed on July 14, 2026, by Senator Dr. Donzella James, representing Georgia Senate District 28, during a ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the Georgia State Senate said the recognition was in appreciation of Oluranti’s outstanding leadership, humanitarian service and commitment to fostering stronger ties between communities in the United States and Nigeria.

Senator James described Dr. Oluranti as an exceptional global leader whose professional accomplishments and commitment to service have positively impacted countless lives.

“It is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honoured. We extend our highest commendation to High Chief. Dr. Jerry Oluranti, welcoming him as an Honorary Georgia Citizen and a global Goodwill Ambassador to all nations beyond our borders,” the senator said.

Oluranti is the Chief Executive Officer of Complete Care Support Services Inc., Maryland, where he oversees the delivery of Medicaid services, mental healthcare and client support programmes.

In Nigeria, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Amazon Luxury Apartment Limited and President of the Nitanorm Group of Companies, providing leadership in real estate development, facilities management and other business ventures.

Oluranti has maintained a strong commitment to education and technology. He lectures at Ifo College of Management and Technology and has served as an instructor in the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro Consult ICT and Networking Programme.

He has also provided information technology support to the Calvary Group and Calvary International Christian Centre since 2007, serving in various capacities, including database supervisor and IT manager.

The statement further noted that Oluranti is the President of Global Outreach Impact Inc., a humanitarian organisation dedicated to community development, economic empowerment and support for underserved populations.

His contributions have earned him several recognitions, including an honorary doctorate from Vine University and traditional chieftaincy titles in different parts of Nigeria.

The Georgia State Senate said the Goodwill Ambassador designation authorises Oluranti to serve as a representative of goodwill, promoting international cooperation, cultural understanding and community development during his engagements within the United States and abroad.

It added that the honour reflects the Senate’s commitment to recognising individuals whose leadership and humanitarian efforts have made significant contributions to society beyond national boundaries.
