Gunmen have reportedly attacked the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the early hours of Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 1:00 am at the senator’s hometown residence in Obeiba-Ihima, located in the Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Sources familiar with the incident said at least three armed men carrying cutlasses and guns stormed the premises, smashing windows and damaging parts of the building.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, alerted the relevant security agencies immediately after the attack.
Officers from the Okehi Police Division were dispatched to the scene.
