ICPC launches South-East rebranding campaign

ICPC secures conviction of NSCDC deputy commandant

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Friday launched the South-East leg of its nationwide rebranding campaign, saying the initiative is aimed at strengthening the agency’s institutional identity and reinforcing professionalism among its workforce.

The campaign began with a staff sensitisation programme in Enugu attended by officers from the commission’s Anambra, Enugu and Imo state offices.

Speaking at the event, ICPC Chairman Musa Adamu Aliyu said the rebranding exercise extends beyond the unveiling of a new logo, describing it as a comprehensive institutional transformation designed to build a stronger and more credible anti-corruption agency.

“The ongoing rebranding is not just about the logo. It is about who we are, how we conduct ourselves, and the values we project in carrying out our mandate,” Aliyu said.

According to him, the exercise seeks to establish a unified corporate identity that reflects the commission’s core values while enhancing its reputation both within Nigeria and internationally.

Aliyu said the initiative also focuses on strengthening the commission’s corporate culture, promoting institutional values and developing a highly professional workforce committed to integrity, unity and excellence in public service.

He urged officers to see themselves as ambassadors of the ICPC brand and remain dedicated to advancing the commission’s anti-corruption mandate.

The sensitisation programme, titled Understanding Brand Architecture, Corporate Branding and the ICPC Brand, forms part of a nationwide campaign to ensure staff across the commission understand and consistently project the agency’s renewed institutional identity.

The event was attended by members of the commission, including Justice Adamu Bello, Abdullahi Saidu Maikano, Grace Chinda, Hanatu Muhammad and Yahaya Dauda.

Speaking on behalf of the commissioners, Dauda urged officers to remain disciplined and committed to the commission’s mission, noting that staff conduct plays a significant role in shaping public confidence in the agency.

He encouraged personnel to continue serving with professionalism and integrity while preserving the commission’s legacy through ethical conduct and effective service delivery.

The ICPC said the nationwide rebranding campaign is intended to foster a shared understanding of its corporate values and strengthen institutional cohesion across all its offices.

Established in 2000, the ICPC is one of Nigeria’s principal anti-corruption agencies, responsible for investigating and prosecuting corruption-related offences, promoting transparency in public institutions and educating citizens on corruption prevention.

The commission has recently intensified efforts to strengthen its internal capacity alongside its anti-corruption operations, saying a strong institutional culture is essential to improving public trust and enhancing the effectiveness of its mandate.
