NPA’s Lagos headquarters on fire, Warri office under seige

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) headquarters in Lagos has been set ablaze by hoodlums.The arsonists, who chased away workers, also razed the Dockyard, Apapa facility of the agency, and stole valuable items.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) headquarters in Lagos has been set ablaze by hoodlums.The arsonists, who chased away workers, also razed the Dockyard, Apapa facility of the agency, and stole valuable items.

Vehicles within the premises were equally burnt by the unidentified attackers.NPA’s General Manager, Corporate Communications, Jatto Adams, could not respond to phone calls at press time.

The Guardian gathered that Warri Port was too under siege, as its gates had been barricaded with burnt tyres.
