Edo State governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has announced the appointment of Mr. Fred Odianosen Itua as his Chief Press Secretary.

The appointment signed by Senator Okpebholo is the first of the incoming administration and will take effect on November 12, 2024.

Itua is a journalist with a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Assistant Political Editor at The Sun Newspaper.

Meanwhile, leaders of the Youth of Edo State have applauded Itua’s appointment.

The group, in a statement by Iyamu Osaro Culture and 21 others, said the appointment was well deserved.
