The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that sensitive materials for the Ondo State governorship election have arrived in Akure, the state capital.

INEC made the announcement in a short tweet on Monday evening.

The election is scheduled on Saturday 16th November 2024.

INEC said the sensitive materials were received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The electoral body also added that the materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigeria Airforce.

INEC; “Sensitive materials for the Ondo State Governorship election, scheduled for Saturday 16th November 2024 have arrived in Akure, the State capital, and received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigeria Airforce.”
