The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL) has called on Nigerians to rally behind the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), praising the transformative leadership of its Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.

CONYL described Audi as a steadfast pillar of security and national stability, commending his exemplary leadership and transformative impact on the NSCDC.

The president general of CONYL, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, highlighted Audi’s dedication to advancing the Corps and safeguarding the nation, emphasising the importance of collective efforts in addressing Nigeria’s security challenges.

The group commended the leadership of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for his ongoing efforts in combating insecurity across the nation.

Ibem said: “Since his appointment, Dr. Audi has exhibited unparalleled dedication to the advancement of the NSCDC and the security of our nation. His visionary leadership, unyielding commitment to professionalism, and resolute focus on ensuring the safety of Nigerian citizens and national infrastructure have been instrumental in transforming the Corps into one of the most efficient and respected security organisations in the country.

“Under Dr. Audi’s guidance, the NSCDC has significantly enhanced its operational capacity, expanding its reach in providing critical security services in communities across the nation.

“His emphasis on staff welfare, training, and the effective use of technology has ensured that the Corps remains agile and responsive to the ever-evolving challenges of internal security.”

He noted that the NSCDC, under Dr. Audi’s leadership, has played a vital role in protecting critical infrastructure, combating cybercrime, and supporting the efforts of other security agencies in maintaining law and order.

CONYL commended Audi’s tireless work and called on all stakeholders to support his initiatives, noting that his dedication significantly enhanced Nigeria’s security and stability.

He added, “The Corps has made great strides in community policing, ensuring that Nigerians are not only protected but also actively involved in the fight against crime and insecurity.

“A robust training program has been implemented to equip officers with the skills and expertise needed to respond to modern security threats, ensuring a more effective and disciplined force. The Commandant General has been at the forefront of implementing innovative technological solutions, integrating advanced tools in surveillance, monitoring, and intelligence gathering to strengthen security operations.”
