A clinical scientist and National Leader of the United Nigeria Movement for Change, Dr. Abdulfatai Durojaiye, has warned that Nigeria is on the verge of a precipice with the present crop of leaders.

He gave the warning yesterday, in Ikeja, Lagos, while unveiling his plans to contest for the 2023 presidential election under the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).

He said: “I have a clear vision. All my life, I have been looking forward to a country that will be prosperous, a country that I will be proud of and a country that can always have my back.

“We need to strategise to rescue Nigeria and position it on the part of prosperity.”

Speaking on the possibility of him emerging as the candidate of the party, he said: “The possibility is very great. We have been going everywhere in the country and the journey still continues. We have other aspirants but we know the superiority of our argument, clarity of our vision and sincerity of our purpose will make us prevail. I will come out victorious in the primary and march to the general election and prevail.

“I am the candidate of the South-East, South-south, North and West.”
