Nigerian Senator cries foul over governor’s wife’s hair comment
The Senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has decried a governor’s wife’s comments about his hair.
“Appeal to Mr Governor to caution his wife to stop talking about my hair everywhere she goes on campaigns,” Sani tweeted on Saturday.
“Everywhere she goes its all about my hair. Its not my fault if her man is not blessed with hair. I consider it as hate speech.I will report her to Dr Gummi or Council of Imams if she doesn’t stop.Haba Jammaa,” he added.
Sani, however, did not mention the name of the governor or that of his wife. But there are speculations that he was referring to the wife of the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai
The senator and the state governor are having a running battle which culminated in the senator in leaving the ruling All Progressives Congress in 2018.
His defection came after he lost the opportunity to represent APC in the coming senatorial election.
Sani is also one of the most vocal critics of Governor El-Rufai and often decries what he labelled anti-people policies.
