Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, says Nigerians are yet to feel the impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies three years into his administration. He argued that unemployment remains high, the economy is struggling, and security challenges persist despite government promises.
Dalung said there is little to point to as a major achievement of the administration, noting that many Nigerians continue to grapple with economic hardship and insecurity. According to him, the government has not delivered results that have significantly improved the lives of citizens.
The former minister, however, praised Tinubu’s move to pursue local government autonomy through the Supreme Court, describing it as a bold step.
He said it remains one of the few achievements for which he has consistently given the President credit, even though its benefits are yet to be fully felt at the grassroots.
