Nigeria’s Enabulele elected into WMA committee
Edo State-born medical practitioner and former president of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Osahon Enabulele, has been re-elected as Chairman of the Socio-Medical Affairs Committee/Executive Committee member of the World Medical Association (WMA).
Enabulele, a Chief Consultant Family Physician and President of the Commonwealth Medical Association (CMA), was unanimously re-elected for a second term as chairman of WMA’s SMAC during the 217th Council Session of the association, attended by delegates from over 50 countries held in Seoul, South Korea on April 22.
This followed his nomination by representative of the German Medical Association, Dr. Ramin Parsa-Parsi, who stated that he had dutifully executed all his previous responsibilities with distinction.
SMAC is one of the only three standing committees of the WMA.
