NLC vows to resist fuel price hike
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has cautioned the Federal Government against increasing the pump price of petrol.
It vowed to resist any such attempts that could further compound the woes of the citizenry
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, yesterday at the delegate conference of the Borno State chapter of the union in Maiduguri said organised labour would also kick against hike of the Value Added Tax (VAT).
He urged government to develop more strategies to improve its internally generated revenue (IGR).
The NLC boss was epresented by the General Secretary, Radio, Television, Theatre Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), Akpawosu Anietie.
