The governorship candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in Ogun, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has commiserated with the residents of Matogun, Olambe, Okearo area of Ifo local government of Ogun over the unfortunate fire incident in the early hours of Saturday.

The inferno caused by a fallen truck, laden with 33,000 liters of premium motor spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol resulted in the loss of properties in the community.

Speaking on the incident, Ajadi called on Dapo Abiodun-led government to look into the ugly state of roads in that axis.

He said the poor state of the road in the axis has made life difficult, causing major accidents and now unbearable.

The governorship candidate, however, appreciated all security agencies whose prompt role was key to the prevention of further damages.

He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the people in the area who lost their properties and means of livelihood to the fire outbreak.

Ajadi also urged motorists, especially truck drivers to always obey the traffic rules and drive safely to avoid reoccurrences.
