Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSoF), Folashade Yemi-Esan, has said by the end of 2025, there will be no room for paper work.

Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSoF), Folashade Yemi-Esan, has said by the end of 2025, there will be no room for paper work.

Commissioning an information Training (IT) centre with services to be provided by Galaxy Backbone and located within the State House Auditorium in Abuja, the HCSoF said the facility was to assist the staff in the area of modernising their work processes.

She noted that the facility would upscale digital skills of the staff.

Yemi-Esan warned that the country’s civil service was transiting, warning staff members that fail to avail themselves with digital skills of being left behind.

In his address, the Permanent Secretary, State House, Tijjani Umar, explained that the initiative was in tandem with current efforts fast-tracking the implementation of Public Sector Reforms as captured in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP-2020).
