NOA warns citizens to be security conscious, as insurgents flee from Northeast

The director of Plateau State National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Bulus Dabit, has said until settlers and indigenes remove religion from whatever happens in their domain, there will always be crisis.
Dabit said, yesterday in Jos, that wrong religious interpretations are causing crisis in the state because of dogmas.
He also used the opportunity to tell all stakeholders that insurgents in the Northeast have been displaced and are now running everywhere looking for abode. He warned citizens to be vigilant and security conscious.
Meanwhile Imo State government has indicated interest to partner with authorities of NOA on vital areas of nation building.
The Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere, disclosed this, yesterday, when the agency’s Director General, Dr. Garba Abari, visited him in Owerri.
Madumere, who described the agency as “a great instrument for national mobilisation and orientation,” said the youth population of 60 percent deserves the agency’s focus in achieving sustainable economic development, as empowering this segment of society would have positive and wide impact on all.
