Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Dr.Ahmed Audi, has assured the new minister of interior Olubunmi Tunji -Ojo of the readiness and unalloyed commitment and cooperation of his agency and other agencies in the ministry of interior to continued safeguarding of the internal security of lives and property of over 200 million Nigerians.

He stated this at the welcoming ceremony of the minister as he assumes office, Monday in Abuja.

Audi in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, (PRO), of the Corps, Babawale Afolabi, said the parastatals under his command are committed to ensuring security within the nation.

” I want to assure you that we are all ready to work with you and deliver the dividend of democracy to Nigerians in line with President Bola Tinubu’s renew hope agenda and also sustain our continued effort to safeguard the internal security of the country” the CG assured.
