Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has said that it is investigating the plight of 27 Nigerian ladies who travelled to Lebanon in search of employment.

The commandant, Bello Ale, disclosed this yesterday in Ilorin while handing over Mrs. Gloria Bright, who was repatriated from Lebanon in the early hours of yesterday, to the president of Eruku Progressive Union, Mr. Shola Daniels.

Ale said the repatriation was one of the successes recorded by the security agency in it investigation of alleged slavery by Nigerian women in Lebanon.
