Nwanyanwu emerges presidential candidate of ZLP, promises rule of law
Ahead of the 2023 poll, Mr. Dan Nwanyanwu has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Speaking during the party’s special convention/presidential primary held yesterday, in Abuja, he promised to entrench the rule of law if elected president.
Nwanyanwu, who addressed 185 delegates of the party, cautioned party members to ensure they have Permanent Voters Cards (PVC).
He said: “Ensure you have voters card when you are coming to see me. If you are coming to see me, come with your PVC. If you are holding meetings without your PVCs, it is of no use.
“We would obey fundamental human rights of Nigerians; we would ensure things are not done by fiat. Nigeria is shaking. I don’t need experience that will make me steal Nigeria’s money.”
