Oba of Benin welcomes quadruplets as alma-mater visits
The Benin monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II has welcome Quadruplets from his fifth wife, Queen (Oloi) Esosa Ewuare II into the Benin Royal family.
The traditional ruler made the announcement yesterday at about 4:57p.m in his palace, amidst jubilation by guests. The sexes of the babies who are yet to be named, comprises three infant Princes and an infant Princess.
The monarch thanked God Almighty and his ancestors for the blessing, while the presiding Priest of the oldest West African Church, better known as Holy Aruosa Church, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayer to God for wisdom and guidance for the new born.
Queen (Oloi) Aisosa Ewuare II is the youngest among the wives of the traditional ruler.
The brief Ceremony coincided with the visit of National executives of Immaculate Conception College, ICC, Benin City, which is Oba Ewuare II Alma-mater.
Engr. John Osa- Omoregie, who thanked the Benin monarch for his support towards the development of the school and sued for more support, led the group to the visit.
