Obasa seeks better economic ties between Nigeria, China
Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Mudashiru Obasa, has called for more cooperation between Nigeria and China to boost the former’s economy.
The Lagos State House of Assembly speaker made the call when he received Chinese delegation led by the Consular-General in Lagos, Chu Maoming, at the weekend.
During the meeting in his office, Obasa commended the Chinese government for establishing and sustaining mutual cooperation with Nigeria.
He urged the Asian country to look at ways of further boosting investment in Lagos, while commending the country for supporting and standing by Nigeria’s thriving democracy.
