
Mbah promises Enugu economic growth
Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has assured Deltans of his administration’s commitment to sustainable development and advancement of the state through his MORE agenda.
The governor, who gave the assurance in his New Year message to people of the state, urged them to continue to remain united, focused and peaceful as they enter the 2024.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Festus Ahon, in Asaba, quoted Oborevwori reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing quality and enhanced service delivery to Deltans, expressing confidence that God would perfect everything concerning Delta and Nigeria in the New Year.
He said that the outgoing year, 2023, was challenging but eventful, thanking God for what his administration has achieved in the past seven months.
The governor urged the people of the state to remain prayerful, peaceful and law-abiding, adding that he is trusting God for greater things for the people in the New Year.
ALSO, Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has predicted a bright 2024 for Nigeria, urging citizens to keep hope alive, as gains of some 2023 economic policies would begin to trickle in, in the New Year.
Mbah also assured the people of Enugu State of disruptive economic growth in the New Year, given the various projects, policies and laws, including the state’s 2024 appropriation law rolled out by his administration in the year just ended.
The governor stated this in his New Year message to Nigerians and the people of Enugu, yesterday.
