As part of efforts to actualising his governorship ambition, a governorship aspirant under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in next year’s general elections in Ogun State, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), has continued his statewide consultation with leaders in all the local governments areas.

Addressing a crowd of supporters, the aspirant pledged direct governance to the people, saying he was seeking to liberate the people from “poverty” by bringing governance to the doorstep of every resident of the state.

He further promised to restore the dignity of residents and the state through solution-driven, socio-economic interventions, inculcation of clear values and understanding of fundamental rights, which he said are well articulated in the party manifesto.

Speaking at the event, Joju Fadairo, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in the state, said: “We all know the importance of votes from Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area, especially Ofada Ward, and if crowd is a direct translation of votes, it is easier to conclude that the whole of Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area is for GNI with this show of love.”

Speaking at the event, Chief Joju Fadairo, who is an ardent supporter of GNI governorship ambition and former Ogun State PDP chairman, stated “we all know the importance of votes from Obafemi Owode Local Government, especially Ofada Ward and If crowd was direct translation of votes, it’s easier to conclude that the whole of Obafemi Owode Local Government is for GNI with this show of love.”
