Ogun begins sensitisation for easter pilgrimage to Israel
The Ogun State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced sensitisation programme in preparation for the 2020 Easter pilgrimage to Israel.
In a statement signed by the media officer of the Board, Mr. Lateef Ositelu, he said the purpose of the exercise was to encourage Christians in the state to fulfill Biblical injunction and to canvass for their cooperation, saying that the Board has put in place structures towards a successful exercise.
Ositelu attributed the outstanding performance of the board to strict adherence to rules of best practices, as well as the support of the government. He enjoined members of the Christian community to support and give audience to the sensitisation team assigned to Ijebu, Egba, Remo and Yewa zones, while calling on all Christians who desire to travel to the Holy land during the period to visit the Board’s office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for more enquiries.
